Ian is the Hampshire trainer for the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences
Ian is a qualified hypnotherapist who specialises in working with people who wish to dramatically improve their lives. Ian holds a diploma in counselling and hypnotherapy, an advance diploma in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy and a diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy. Ian is also an approved therapist with Anxiety UK. Ian is an National Leader of Governance (NLG) appointed by the DfE working with schools to help raise the level of education.Ian is also a trainer of hypnotherapists with the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences
Ian trains hypntherapists to diploma level and is a trained clinical supervisor..
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive: Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma You will be eligible to use the letters DipCAH, HPD after your name and if you successfully pass optional tests you will also receive Specialist Certificate in Neuro Linguistic Programming ans use PNLP after you name Specialist Certificate in Smoking Cessation Specialist Certificate in Treating Anxiety Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certificate
Our Diploma Course is run part time over one year and has 450 hours of combined classroom tuition and directed independent study. Ian runs small groups of up to six and the course is modular. This means that if you want to start the course immediately you can. If you prefer to learn at the same pace as other, you can join when the course starts on module one. It is your choice. Most UK Academy Centres operate run the course over weekends, typically following this structure: 1. Introductory (see below) 2. Traditional hypnotherapy practice 3. Self-hypnosis, pain and IBS 4. Smoking and weight control 5. The therapeutic process 6. Anxiety and stress 7. Ericksonian hypnosis 8. Practice management 9. Regression 10. NLP 1 11. NLP 2 The cost is £2675.00 It can be paid in full or with a deposit and the remainder paid over six or ten months. .
The UK Academy is accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the National Society of Hypnosis, Psychotherapy & Mindfulness. We choose these accreditations over any others that would be available to us due to the benefits they provide. The NCH is a members’ co-operative and offers the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma. Both offer our students free membership (NCH while students and NSHP&M student membership and the first year in practice). Both have very high standards which are fully enforced by their codes of ethics and complaints procedures. .
